Showers dampen Monday, but sunny skies move in for rest of week

Lights showers fell on Orange County Monday but they won’t last as the rest of the week is expected to be clear and sunny.

There’s a 40 percent chance of more rain Monday night, but it should clear up after 11 p.m., according to the National Weather Service.

Beginning Tuesday, the days will be sunny and the nights will be mostly clear with some scattered clouds.

Temperatures on Tuesday will reach the mid-60s and gradually increase to the high 70s until Friday. Nights will get slightly warmer as the temperature moves from the 40s into the 50s.

Also coming this week is some slight winds.

Tuesday may bring wind from 5 mph to 10 mph and grow into gusts as high as 20 mph on Wednesday. The rest of the week should be clear, sunny and balmy.
